Organised by Keith Thomson who encouraged a sprightly band of enthusiastic photographers to climb over static displays of many interactive exhibits with most of the aircraft cockpits available to actually sit inside. From the famous English Electric Lightning to the mighty Westland Wessex Helicopter - all were available for them to view up close.
