Tonight our very own Jim Pascoe will be
giving us an insight into the world of
portraiture. Jim has a wealth of experience
on this genre and will be sharing his
knowledge and some of his incredible images
for what will be a very interesting evening and
one not to miss!

An Evening with ANDREW NEWEY-
Local award winning photographer Andrew
Newey got hooked on photography after
attending a camera club in 2002. Tonight he
will be sharing some of his most memorable
stories (of which he assures he has a great
many) alongside some incredible images.

Chris has rewritten an entire new format to
enable us to enjoy a fun evening where
everyone gets involved. The audience will
control the night by voting for favourite images
resulting in an overall 'champion image'.

Tonight we will have a friendly discussion and
feedback session on images taken to
represent a subject set by our Chairlady Sue
and announced at our Welcome Back
evening in September.
Images can only have been taken since 2nd
September. Prizes available - so make sure
you hunt for something unusual that will
command attention!

ZIMBABWE - Off the beaten Track.
Tonight we welcome BRIAN PETIT who will
be sharing his fantastic Wildlife Presentation
based on this fairly under-recorded part of
Africa's Wildlife Heritage. From historic
Selous to the Matopos Hills, from Lake Kariba
to Victoria Falls and, finally, to the jewel in
Zimbabwe's Wildlife Crown - Hwange Game
Reserve. This not just another "Big 5" event
but looks under the rocks and behind the
bushes to uncover many of the other species
that are just as important in maintaining the
balance of African Nature and holding
together that "Wildlife Web" we all love so
much.

Glyn will be sharing a diverse selection of
photography covering landscapes, travel,
people, street, architecture and wildlife
gathered across 3 photo tours to different
locations. Be prepared for some wonderful
photos and stories where the emphasis is on
information and entertainment. - Information
about the places and the techniques used,
and humour about photographic tours, the
people and the places.

CHRIS FROST - LANDSCAPE
PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR 2020.
Chris's interest in photography developed in
2009 during his honeymoon to Japan. With
his passion for landscape photography
starting in 2012. Living locally in Dorset Chris
has chased incredible seascapes before
moving on to the more tranquil Dorset hidden
woodlands with his ultimate goal to convey
the magical atmoshere delivered at sunrise
and sunset. Chris is also involved in a large
variety of landscape workshops worldwide so
be prepared to be inspired!

of images to choose from and edit however
they wished now the results are in!
We had a lot of fun last time with some
fascinating and entertaining results. If last
year was anything to go by - be prepared to
expect the unexpected!

- Bitesize Talks -
The thought of doing a whole or half night talk
is very daunting for some members. Tonight
we invite members to have a go via a few
mintues to talk about anything you like to do
with photography. Perhaps you would like to
share a love for a particular genre, share a
selection of images that you are proud of
without being judged in a competition, talk
about how you created an image or even take
the opportunity to ask for help or advice from
the audience.
